Happy New Year!!

We finished the year off with a bang!! Julian got up on all fours two days before the year ended. We think he is FINALLY getting over his cough, and he's starting to talk a lot more. He's got the b and D sounds and he's working on the m's (mama's favorite :) ) As for Vincent, he's loving his new bike that he got for Christmas. We got him a pedal-less bike and he is really starting to get the hang of it. I never would have thought that he would have enjoyed it so much. He doesn't quite have the glide down, but he's definitely enjoying "jumping" over the sidewalk cracks and making his turns.

We spent Christmas in Texas this year and it was really relaxing. Auntie visited us and we had Mongolian hot pot with the grandparents and Bobo and BoMo for lunch and then cheese fondue for Christmas Eve - tradition, of course (heh heh). Then, we got to spend the Christmas night over at Aunt Nancy's house. Vincent loves their media room and could have watched who know now many more movies is we would have let him, but two was enough because he had to spend the rest of the time running around their house or playing with his cousins, which he absolutely adored. Julian was his usual peaceful self - always watching and enjoying being held by his relatives. Overall, the boys got so many gifts this year and we are very very grateful for what a great family and support system that we have.

Then, we hit up NASA for New Year's Eve and had a great time in their legoland. Then, we went over to the Garnetts and the kiddos got to spend some real play time together. They were dressing up and running around and just being cute. Julian fell asleep on Dadu's shoulder from all of the excitement. We went back home and put the kiddos to bed and got to spend some quiet time together before ringing in the new year. It was great.

And now, here we are! New year's resolutions? Well, we are thinking this will be a calmer year for us - no birthing this time ;) Julian will be learning to walk and will probably be challenging Vincent for toys while Vincent will hopefully fully embrace his preschool and his buddies there. He's really turned into a sweetheart and is becoming very verbose - it's great to be able to communicate with the little munchkins.
