First Tooth, First Haircut, Sitting Up

Well, little Julian is well on his way to mobility these days. He just started sitting himself up and is almost to where he can crawl forward...almost. He cut his first tooth last Saturday. Really, he barely complained when it came in and we would have missed it but for the nasty little rash that he has going on on his cheeks. He's enjoying solids pretty well. We'd have to say that he went through quite the eating binge the past few weeks and is finally starting to slow down.

Vincent has been a real sweetheart lately. He's more into dressing himself (wardrobe changes included) and is helping out around the house a lot more. It's great. He's loving his new bike. We are working on getting him potty trained so he now is the proud owner of two hamsters. Yeah. Zhu pets - Rivet and Yama. He got one for quitting the paci and now another for the first poo in the toilet. We will see what this next month will bring but I think we are close...once he gets Rivet's battle armor for the next poo we should be well on our way ; ) Boy, did I ever think I'd be saying something like that!!??

Anyway, we have a fun year ahead of us with a whole lot more travel than last year, so we will be sure to post some fun pics. Our next trip is up to the Arctic Tundra of Chicago for a baby shower. The weather will be plenty different frmo our recent excursion to Austin - heh heh heh.

Oh, and there's also our new Friday night tradition - Movie night!! It's been a blast - we had milkshakes with one and V and J dressed up as Toy Story characters for the other - we were, of course, watching Toy Story 3 ; )

****This month had a very very low point when my aunt unexpectedly passed away in Costa Rica. My uncle and cousins are wonderful people and it was a very very sad event for the Flores family. I only hope that each day brings a little more peace to them.
