And it has been one heck of a month!!

What a month. no really. I believe it was just a little bit after the last post that half of our family came down with the flu. Vincent caught it from preschool and then Shu got it and somehow Julian and I were able to ward it off. Tamiflu worked its magic but not before poor little Vincent had to endure some pretty crappy fevers, spiking at 103 or 104 between medicine!! This was all a week before we were scheduled to go up to Chicago to celebrate an ISU Knapp reunion/baby shower/bridal shower. Between the flu, the great blizzard, teething, and Houston's ice storm we somehow managed to make it up to St. Louis and drive to Decatur to meet up with our friends.

We were back three days when Julian came down with a fever. The poor guy got super super sick, went on a nursing strike, and finally got better a week and a half later!! And so, here we are. Gugu visited us while julian was still on the mend and now we finally had a nice relaxing, all-healthy weekend and got a chance to enjoy Houston's great winter weather.

In all of this time, little Julian has figured out how to crawl!! The little man is pretty adorable, and quite a cute little menace, especially when it comes to Vincent's toys!! Heh heh. Vincent's been a good little guy. He still complains about going to preschool but he's no longer the class troublemaker. Apparently, there is a Dinoco car there that is his main motivation for attending the measly 8 hours/week. His favorite song lately has been "Rock On Larry Boy" by the Veggietales and he just starts growling and riding his little bike in circles ;)

Shu and I were able to celebrate Valentine's Day by going out on our first real date since Julian was born. We went to Aura - super super tasty. The boys were watched by the Garnetts and it seems that they really had a great time.

Now, we are gearing up for the Houston rodeo and a visit from Grammie and Papu - woohooo!!
