A Dadu-worthy Posting Event

Just to let you know up front, there is a guest author for this post - Vincent's Dadu (that is what he still calls me!). It seems like the only time I get inspired to post something is when it has to do with my favorite topic - Vincent's excrements. Today, Little V had a significant moment, his first pee in a potty! It all started out auspiciously. We were getting him ready for his bath. We had just gotten him undressed, naked booty and all heading to the bath. He decided to employ evasive maneuvers and slipped away, heading into the guest room and towards a corner of the dark room. Mama had a hunch that he was up to something, and he sure was. Mama told him, "Vincent, are you peeing over there?". He certainly was, but Mama startled him enough that it stopped him after a few drops had hit the carpet. First, I'm proud of the boy that he was able to pinch it off. I wasn't sure how startling him was going to end up - full speed ahead or hitting the brakes, but it worked out well. We then walked him over to his little potty that we keep in the gameroom, sat him down, and he actually let loose with the rest! Okay, so he was sitting down, so we'll work on standing up and peeing in a more manly fashion after some more practice runs. For now, we're happy to see the little guy using his own throne for the first time! We'll just have to keep the carpet cleaner on hand for a while ...
