Today we went to the Houston Rodeo. We were there for quite a while and in that time we watched pig races, saw lots and lots of cattle, saw rabbits, chicken, lamb, sheep, pigs (which V was particularly not fond of), petted an alpaca (amongst others), and walked through fun on the farm. It was a blast. V zonked out before we even made it to the car!! There was something about pigs he didn't seem to like. They really were the only animal he seemed to flinch from...silly boy.
We didn't get to see any animals birthing but did get to see chicks hatching.
Speaking of hatching, the nesting has begun over here. Here is a sample of the fabric we've selected for the baby room, which really is kind of a guest/baby room since we are not kidding ourselves about how long this baby will be hanging out in our room :)
