Even the Rain Didn't Stop Us!!

What a day and it is only 2 PM!!

I really should start this post off with a statement declaring Vincent's solid entrance into the "wonderful" two's.

Proof:
-says "no" for everything, including mango
-has turned into a drama queen - even when HE was the one to drop his little beloved McQueen car
-is harder to physically handle than a freaking alligator, he is super long and strong
-cannot be easily diverted or bribed, even the paci won't win him over at times

With all of this, he is still cute as ever. To go back to the initial start of this blog, we went to Tom Bass park this morning, despite reports of afternoon rain, to scope our the locale for his 2nd bday party. For some reason, there is something magical about a huge empty field, a ball, and random birds, because Vincent had the biggest smile on his face during the 20 minutes we were out there. And, just when I thought his smile couldn't get any bigger, it started raining and he thought it was the best thing in the whole wide world to run in the rain with his Dadu. And, then, even better, it started pouring down rain and he got to run in Dadu's arms while we raced to the car as fast as we could. Who knew rain was so much fun...or wet ; )

Then, we went to WalMart, of all places, to give him more running time. We walked out of there with a bunch of balls and gift for his bday - yes, the boy is spoiled ; ) Too bad his birthday is almost a month away.

Anyway, it was a good morning, despite the rain and the cold. We topped it off with some McDonald's and now it's nap time!!! Wohoooooo!
