Mama Bear and Baby Bear

Vincent is thankfully back in full force. During his illness he seemed to stretch out and absorb a bunch more vocabulary words ; ) Right now he counts to 20, but I must qualify that and say that after he gets to "10", his count goes something like this: "12-14-17-18-20!!" (and he always screams out the "20"). Mamma has been in the throes of an ear/sinus infection, so hopefully we are almost in the clear. In the meantime, V seems to be having a good enough time hanging out at home as much as going to the store ;)

The other day, we had a very cute moment with our little man. I introduced a big bear and called it "Mama Bear", then we had a little baby bear that has a diaper, and I called it "baby bear". So, I pretended that baby bear was crying and Vincent said "Baby crying!" and seemed to be concerned. Of course, after a while he was hitting baby bear with his train to make it stop crying (we have some work to do here), but he was generally very cute and kept hugging the two of them. Well, then it was bed time and we put him in his crib along with baby bear bc he happened to be right there. We said our good nights and everything seemed well. Then, 20 minutes later we noticed he was still rolling around his crib and saying something, so we turned the volume up on the monitor and noticed he was saying something about baby bear and mama and something else, so Dadu ran upstairs to get baby bear out of his crib. Vincent wasn't happy with that so he left baby bear in the crib and came downstairs telling me something about him saying mamma. We we looked at him on the monitor he was standing up as if trying ot reach something that was out of his crib. We finally realized he was asking for mamma bear. Shu went upstairs, game him the mamma bear and he hugged the two and fell asleep within 2-3 minutes. It was very cute...although now we have the nagging thought that he thinks that mamma bear should always sleep with baby bear...
