Life is good!!

So, after finishing up the week with such an awesome swim class, we headed up to Nebraska to visit Grammie and Papu. We had an awesome visiting the Omaha zoo, the Lincoln children's museum, and just enjoying the wornderful weather up there. V got some great practice on stairs while he was up there. Grammie managed to teach him how to sing along with Old MacDonald and, even better yet, how to love ice cream ; ) Here is a funny video of him eating ice cream - intensive training ; )

He's been absolutely in love with cars, trucks, trains, horses, and anything else that is small and that he can clutch in his little hand. Grammie and papu got him a little Elmo shape sorter and he's close to putting everything in on his own. He had great practice kicking around the soccer ball and being the center of attention ; )

This coming week, we will be finishing our swim classes. We took him swimming in our neighborhood pool and he did a great job of floating and a little bit of swimming. Oh, and he's got his somersaults down pat!!
