Less than a month and a half away!!

We had our appointment this morning and apparently the little one decided to have a growth spurt - either that or his acrobatics have resulted in me measuring bigger. I used to be on the smaller side, but now he's right on track - 35 cm and we're just about at 35 weeks!! He's been punching my hip bones, which feels kinda funny, but it's good to know his head is right where it should be.

We had two wonderful baby showers this weekend. We can't believe how generous everyone was!!! What's scary is that it seems like we've got the basics for everything we need for the little guy!! Thanks to everyone!! I promise to post pictures from the showers - including the diaper cake that Audra made and Carol's cupcake tower - just to mention a couple of things.

THANKS!

PS. Down below we posted a little blurb about how we're trying to go green and, in case you missed it, we are going to try out cloth diapers. We just wanted to catch everyone up on the exciting technology behind cloth diapering in 2008 since we've had some questions: A diapering service is a company that delivers clean cloth diapers and picks up the dirties on a weekly basis(so we will not be laundering the stinkies - phew!!). We'll be using snappi clips (if we don't have blow outs, we might be able to just lay the diapers in like a pad!) and diaper covers, which look like disposables but are just a waterproof barrier that you'll wash every now and then. So, all in all, without using them yet, they seem to be almost as easy as disposables. I promise to get a video of Shu gagging while he's changing the diapers ; ) Oh, and we'll probably use disposables when we have to (travel, maybe overnight, and when the little one starts eating solids).
