Julian is now walking all over the place! IT was two weekends ago, when our good friend Audra was staying with us, that he decided to give up the four-legged motion and go with his two legs ; ) Since then, he's a cute little Frankenbaby walking everywhere and anywhere. Sadly, he still find true enjoyment in attacking Haley's water and bugging V while he is using the restroom, but otherwise, he is a real sweetie pie. He almost runs to the door whenever he hears Shu come home from work. He's eating just about anything - blackberries are his latest favorite ;) He's a ball lover and gets a lot of joy out of throwing them...and basically anything else that can be launched into the air. He's still a cuddly little fellow and love his yellow blankie very very dearly.
As for Vincent, he has made up very proud in passing a series of three float tests in his swim class. His final test was wearing jeans, shoes, socks, and a long sleeved shirt. He is a floating machine - did it for 5 minutes the first time and since then was able to get himself to the side within 3 minutes or so. He got a cute blue bell out of it and you could tell he was pretty proud of himself. He's been great these days. Really listening better and trying to be helpful. We will see what effect our upcoming vacation has on him.
This weekend, we are heading down to Costa Rica and it promises to be a fun trip. We will have lots of family time as well as pool and beach time so we can't wait. Shu will be joining us halfway through since he's been working his little bootie off. Right now, I am anxiously awaiting Grammie's pretrip visit. Vincent keeps thinking anyone who is at the door might be Grammie. It's actually really sweet.
Oh, and since it's been so long, I should recap our birthdays. Mine was great - we went to Palm Beach on the day of, but the weekend was prefaced with a nasty feverish illness for the kids and involved a good amount of vomiting, so overall it was evenful. Shu's was fun, we went to see Cars 2 at the theater (10:10 AM!!) with Charlie and Dorcas, and then celebrated with an overnight at mike and Alechia's house where they just put in an awesome pool. Overall, a great time. Next year is Shu's big 4-0!! Planning will begin in the very near future ;)
