Phew!

Well, three hayrides and one train ride later, we are back from Grammie and Papu's. We spent a good ten days up there and it was a great time!! Let's put it this way, the suitcase weighed 48 pounds on the way back ; ) It would have weighed much more if we would have taken back our pumpkins with us. We made it to the Strategic Air and Space museum, Lincoln Zoo, Roca Berry Farm, Vala's, a Fall Festival, several indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and made sure we had ice cream on a daily basis. It was great! One huge highlight is that Vincent go to spend time with his cousins. It was great seeing all the kiddos together ; )

Julian has started sleeping through the night while we were gone and, save a few recent slip ups, it looks like he's going to continue this awesome trend. He's all smiles most of the time and is definitely beginning to demand a little more attention. He's not one to stand in the sidelines ; ) He's grabbing things and is trying to roll over.

Vincent is talking up a storm. He picked up a conversation with my parent's neighbor asking him "Hey, Bob, have you seen the bunny lately" ; ) He's definitely not shy ;) It's great talking with him. The hayrides were a big highlight for him. He had a great time snuggling with his Grammie and Papu.

As for me, I loved going out one night and looking at the stars. It was so cute to see how excited Vincent got about the airplanes...of course then he started obssessing over the "bugs that come out at night" and wanted to go back inside. I figure he has a sense of what karma means and realized that all the ants, spiders, and beetles he'd been killing in my parents' backyard were going to go get him in the dark ;) Here's to hoping this is just a stage ;) Otherwise, maybe we don't have to pay for pest control ;)
