We're going on our first road trip tomorrow!! We will be Eastward bound on the TL Express to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My Dad is in New Orleans for a conference and we'll be staying at casa de Andy. We are being your typical first-time parents and packing the car to the gills. Do we need to bring our tub? His booster chair?? 72 diapers??? Who cares : ) We're going to see if it all fits along with his pack and play, stroller, etc etc. We're crossing our fingers and hoping we can make the ride without stopping, but I am sure we'll get within 30 minutes of the place and THEN he'll remember that he's hungry. It's a four and half hour drive...he's gone a max of four hours between feedings during the day...It may not be worth it ;) Stay tuned for an update on how it went ;)
As for his latest activities, he's been clasping his hands together and playing his own version of tug-of-war. It's great to see how alert he is. He loves swatting at the toys in his activity gym. He always smiles when he gets into the Jumperoo and he's been staying in there longer and longer. And, he's actually starting to enjoy his high chair. Other functions have been A-OK - pooing, peeing, burping, farting...really he's just like his Daddy ;)
