We had our 37+ week appointment today. Our midwife is guessing that the little guy is probably around six pounds right now. His head is down there and seems to be prepping. We got our paperwork so that we can have everything ready to go when we go to the hospital - crazy stuff, huh? Now it's just up to him ;)
When people ask us if we have the nursery ready...well, let's just say everything that requires batteries has batteries in it, everything that needs a waterproof cover is ready and in place, and every set of notes from our classes are lined up and ready to go. Shu's even got his swaddling technique down - at least with a plastic baby ; ) But, really, the reality of what is about to happen is beginning to hit us and I have to say...well, the nursery is about as ready as it's going to be and here's to hoping everything goes well!! We're supposed to have internet access at the hospital so we'll do our best to update the web site and let you guys know when our little one gets his first breath of fresh air!!
PS. BTW -we're trying out rechargeable batteries which I thought was really smart until I realized how IMPOSSIBLE it is to open those darned battery compartments!!!!
