Our Little Soccer Players

Yup, I am pretty sure they will both be soccer players. Why, you ask? Well, one is constantly kicking bicycle kicks and dribbling inside me ; ) And, the other just looks really cute in a soccer uniform and actually loves his soccer socks. That says a lot considering he can't stand wearing shoes OR socks.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. It was the first year for Vincent to verbally wish me a happy mother's day and it was the sweetest thing to hear it from him. I got an Iphone from Dadu and V so I couldn't be any happier. Really, everyone wins on that gift - V can't get enough of the Shamu whales or the tractor song ;) and we were able to go to a doctor's visit with Vincent and actually get to talk to the midwife without him being too obnoxious...really, the wait was an even bigger challenge, but not with the iphone ;)

Vincent has taken to reciting the Between the Lions CD along with other songs. He pretty much has his 1-10 down in all three languages, although he keeps the four in Chinese and in English he blazes through to 20 but still forgets 13, 15, 16, and 18 ;) I guess the biggest news was that he chose to crawl in and out of his crib several times yesterday and managed to crawl back in and take his nap on his own!!! Who would have guessed. Of course, hat has us thinking he might be ready for the big boy bed which would then free up the crib for his baby brother WAY before we had wished, so it's pretty cool. It coincides with the decorating of said brother's room. As of today, a shark and two shamu whales have taken residence in the new baby room ;) And, now V has put in a special request for some construction bedding...he'll hav eto take that up with Dadu...
