Good Times...but, is there a pause button??

Our little man is doing well these days. He's been testing out different gyms to see if he wants to enter the world of organized classes...Little Gym, Reflex, Gymboree...so many to choose from!! He's all about hanging on the rings and foam pits are definitely a plus for him, but mommy kinda thinks that structure would be good for this, um, how to say....energetic little boy ; ) He's never been a huge fan of slides but if they curve and are super tall, then he's willing to consider them. He, thankfully, stopped himself before he ran his little patootie off the jungle gym just a few days ago...let's just say that he's after speed and the faster he can run the better. So, face planting is a common hazard.

As for eating, this boy has been eating some massive breakfasts lately. On the menu: cheerios, 1 egg, a banana or two, any other fruit on hand, and his beloved vitamin (Dr. Sears makes a killer vitamin that he loves - whenever I give it to him he says " all done" before it is even in his mouth ; )

In the verbal skill arena, he starting to pick up body parts in Chinese and Spanish but it is a long process. Most of the time he likes to just say the words becuase of how they sound. He was praticing his "nǐ hǎo ma" with his Ama and Akong yesterday and decided to belt it out during dinner - ("hello" in Chinese). We still skype with his Grammie virtually every morning, so he's starting to get all of the hand motions for "The Wheels on the Bus" and looks up when Grammie says "Star Bright, Star Light".

Anyway, he's a fun lovin' kid and is definitely keeping us busy. He joined us in this year's Heart Walk, which took place in downtown houston. V probably walked, um, jogged, about a half mile of it and the rest of it he spent strapped down in his stroller. I think he actually enjoyed the people watching, but he was glad to get out at the end and run around with his Dadu...
