Happy Birthday, Little Man!! You could say we celebrated his monthly birthday with a trip out to visit his gugu and shushu in Seattle. It was great. It started off a little wet and cold, but ended up beautiful. V had some firsts, like practicing his correct annunciation for "fish", noticing that he'd poo'ed and telling us, catching some air when he jumped, taking his first ferry ride, and sleeping for well over half of the flight home!! We had the chance to hike, see fish, see more fish (salmon in the wild), eat fish (fried, broiled, grilled), eat crab (dungeness and snow), and have just a fun time together. Vincent is getting more an more expressive - he lets us know when something is off or when he just doesn't feel like doing what we want, but he can actually tell us what is wrong most of the time, which is nice. He did get to digress a tad since we shared a room, but we can't complain - it led to sleeping in and enjoying a family bed in the mornings. Thankfully, things are back to normal and everyone is enjoying a solid night of sleep again. Anyway, thanks to Judy and Carlos for a great time!!
