Preparing for our first camping trip!!

How much does it cost to go camping in Texas?? Well, we've managed to make it a very pricey endeavour. We had to super-size our tent. We had to get a proper lantern. We had to buy a pack to take V hiking with us. And, then, to make sure we could take Haley, we had to buy a new minivan!!! Yup, that's right ladies and gentlemen, we are now proud owners of a 2009 Honda Odyssey. It is decked out with chrome, DVD player, power doors and windows, an awesome stereo system, and enough space for everyone and their grandmother ; ) We'll be sure ot take plenty of pictures of our weekend trip.

Vincent has been preparing himself by practicing how to climb up and out of everything - the bath tub included. He's also quite adept at drinking out of a straw, eating lots of real food, and handy with a bucket and shovel. Sandy shore, here we come!!

As for myself, my stay at home biz is going well. I've been taking photogrpahy classes that Daddy gifted me for Valentine's day, joined the board for LIFE Houston, and am working on mastering Adobe Premier. In fact, here's an old video fo the first time V stood up...man oh man it seems it was just a little bit ago!! He was such a little chub miester!!
