He was able to pull himself up from a sitting position this weekend!! He was playing with this really cool toy cube that his Grammie and Papu bought for him and the wires on top made for perfect handles. He is also working on getting his belly off the ground in preparations for all out crawling but, I'm wondering how soon he'll be crawling considering that he can get around so quickly with his military crawl...and, to be frank, Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma don't want to rush the crawling too much--we're busy enough with him as it is ;) He tried bananas over the weekend. He wasn't a big fan of them. It was the first time he actually spat something of his mouth - usually everything just goes in ;) But, we tried a jar of bananas last night and it went much better. Don't get me wrong - his favorite is still his rice cereal, but he seemed to enjoy them enough to eat a whole 2.5 oz jar!!
Anyway, he just had an AWESOME weekend with his grandparents and has now topped it off with his first swimming lessons. He did an amazing job. Somehow, he understood to know down the foam blocks when he was asked to, was able to "crawl" across the mat to get the red ball and he even high-fived the teacher at the end of the class!!!
