We had our pediatrician appointment today and Vincent is doing really well. He now weigh 8 lbs 13 oz and is 21.5 inches long!! It's incredible to think he's grown so much from birth!! (7 lbs 7 oz, 19 in) He is somehow in the 90% percentile for height and in the 75% for weight and head circumference. So, the doc said whatever we're doing seems to be working ;) He's 100% breastfeeding, but let me just say that for me, this whole breastfeeding thing has been more painful than doing a non-medicated birth...who knew. Oh well, it's worth it and it is getting better every day. He's on a 3 hour sleep cycle (we think it's remnants from his stay at the hospital) so we really can't complain. Every once in a while he'll give us four hours.
He had his first bath on his 16 day birthday ; ) Yup , the ubilical cord came off--woooohoo! I added some more pictures to the album below. Tomorrow, Vincenzo will be meeting his other set of grandparents ; ) He can't wait. In fact, he already put in a request for an outfit ; ) Which I am sure he will be try to pee on or dribble milk on as soon as possible.
